Wow. The shift to the right has been progressing for 40 years on college campuses, last year's immediate a d nearly unanimous response to Palestine to quash any narrative other than Israel good despite there obviously being a range of opinions any observer can easily see, was a big flex of how far right campuses are willing to go to support national political alignment but this is still surprising.

It's the question of the year how HR can hold two opinions so divorced of each other operating in the same department and same org to antithetical ends: that the weak and inexperienced shouldn't receive the benefit of forming union protection against a massive and powerful organization at the UC system and at the same time that 50% of their budget goes to DEI training, counseling, facilitation, audits, analysis...
