This paints Nordstream a much bigger thing than it is. Everyone in EU wants to get rid of it and switch to 100% renewables. Wind, geothermal, tidal and solar are free and autonomous; there for the taking.
You are right that EU is doing well with renewables. Both coal and NG use is down over 10% this year. There are cold spurts at times, and Germany is still charging high fixed prices to industrial users, instead of pricing with renewable abundance.
Von Der Layen, as CIA asset, is happy to expand wars to China instead of cooperating with them on energy and other trade.
That's because EU citizens started to hate China and has nothing to do with the CIA. We see what China does, e.g. threatening neighbouring countries at sea, pressuring Taiwan, putting people like the Uyghurs in what looks a lot like concentration camps, etc.. Most EU citizens want to cut all ties with China, so we won't be responsible for all the evil they do.
CIA controls your mind too then. You trust media/cia politicians that show up on media to tell you such narratives. Because you "hate China", who is surrounding itself with US military bases, then you will support US energy extortion as prelude to greater war on China, but the continued war on Europe. Brainwashing golden million citizens into supporting collapse subserviently is extremely easy through media and controlled democracy.
I haven't seen EU politicians in media in over 10 years.
Atlantic council "guests" is CIA telling you what to think, and NED just tells your media anchors/journalists what to say. The propaganda you cited does have 10 year old roots, so maybe you just accept fellow zombies social media repeating of the politician talking points as the source of your brainwashing.
