For me I reduced the amount of bad food I eat but instead of eliminating it entirely, I just made it into a treat where I get really good quality "bad" foods less often.
Fast food and grocery store meat? All crap. Get the best quality meat from a local butcher. Yeah it costs a lot more, but the point is to eat less and enjoy that small amount even more. Same with sweets, alcohol, etc.
