Vehicles have been far more dangerous to me personally. I've been struck twice, while on sidewalks.

Fear of guns doesn't keep me awake at night.

I've got a chipped tooth that does though. I've got a few questionable spots on my skin that may or may not be cancer. My vision has been getting worse. I've got tinnitus. My joints hurt as if I'm older than I am. And like most americans, I could use some therapy.

I'm afraid of the dangers of the american healthcare system. The thought of getting anything just looked at, nevermind treated, and becoming more financially ruined keeps me from going. Knowing that I'll likely be scammed and cheated by a private system that only wants to squeeze me for everything I've got left makes me just take my chances with nature.
