The Dems spent more time and energy making sure that Bernie didn't win than Trump
Oh definitely. I heard it phrased pretty well the other day; they didn't nominate Joe Biden because he was the only one who could beat Donald Trump, they nominated him because he was the only one who could beat Bernie Sanders.
