Notably, the conservative party did not show up for that vote. Today though, they voted against impeachment and struck it down. So yeah, they are fucked
Actually, they again didn't show up for the impeachment vote. Because impeachment requires a 2/3 supermajority, which is 200 seats, to pass. And the votes are anonymous. So if they did show up, a few of their Members might have anonymously voted in support of impeachment and caused it to pass. So party leaders instructed all their Members to abstain by leaving the building.
