I guess she should count her blessings, she's lucky they didn't Strongly Suggest medically-assisted death till she gave in like they do with disabled people.
My buddy's dad with terminal cancer had to go through a hell of a process to get approved for MAD. I haven't heard of people being railroaded into it here.
You didn't hear about them railroading disabled veterans into it, or you forgot, or it doesn't count because reasons? Or the woman with MCS who was granted MAiD while her pleas for a decent place to live were ignored? Canada is using MAiD is a tool for culling undesirables, and we know that because it has happened. Once would be enough and it isn't once.
