Wizard of Oz prequel Wicked could threaten the ranking, though

How, though? While technically not the same as a sequel, it's still expanding on an established property, which seems to be what's popular. It's still not something wholly original.

There are almost no big original movies being made, that goes much further than just sequels. It's all adaptations of books and plays, reboots, remakes.
