I gotta say, Brazil vetoing Venezuela's admission to the BRICS is really disappointing. Glad to see the other BRICS members aren't taking that as a signal to avoid making their own deals.
i think that all of the brics members want to see an alternative to the dollar dominancy; but they're afraid of pissing off the americans so they still do the american's bidding when asked, but support brics as much as they can when not asked to otherwise.
it's sort of like how americans keep voting for the lesser evil, but it keeps getting worse either way. like american voters, the brics members are being forced to make decisions by american interests and those decisions guarantee that brics will never become a viable alternative anytime soon.
