I guess week 1 was really NZ v Japan last week, but somehow I don't think that really counts.

Ran out of puff at the end of the NPC so haven't been posting much, but lets have a thread to discuss this weekend's matches.

And that "obstruction" call near the end of the first half was pretty whack. Almost 0 impact on the tacklers ability to effect anything on Lemani who had released the box kick before he got there anyway (ie, at worst he blocked a late tackle).

I guess that's what the referee decided; didn't look like there was much (or anything) in it to me live. The Scotland defender kinda just brushed him on the way through and in any case the kick was gone, it had no effect on the play at all.
