Palestinian ambulance worker Abed Bardini unknowingly sat beside his mother's corpse in the ambulance for 2 kilometres after responding to a strike.

His mother was killed by an Israeli air strike in central Gaza.

Mr Bardini made the discovery after medical staff pulled back the blanket in the hospital courtyard.
