The internet has that problem, but Lemmy is the best at combating that stuff I've seen so far.
lemmy is an order of magnitude worse than reddit tf you talking about
Maybe you're not using Lemmy correctly? I would suggest looking at hot, 6 hour, 12 hour, and subscribed in that order. Blocking communities that drive you crazy would also probably really benefit you.
Oh I do. And users. And sometimes whole instances. I've still yet to go an entire week without getting into an argument with a troll spanning at least three hours and coming away knowing nothing I didn't before.
.... you see where the problem here lies, right?.... you engage.
alright then, how about this: I'm tired of my feed being a 50/50 mix of memes and blatantly wrong communist propaganda
Sorry man, that sounds like a you thing. If someone is trolling you, you commenting back is the worst thing you can do. Just state your facts (to give the counterbalance) once and then walk away. If you're replying and explaining, they're winning.
Not if you block hexbear
pawb.social is defederated from hexbear. I'm seeing those same clowns on .world. They're not even localized to .ml anymore.
