it’s because of elon’s very public desire to destroy democracy, his flouting of our laws, his ruining of twitter, his hatred for certain people and love of pushing lies and paranoia, and other such nonsense. blame elon. he’s made driving a tesla go from “wow, awesome” to “omg, you support that azzhole?” in a few short years. it’s a shame.
That, and it's a stupid looking truck and gets laughed at because of how dumb it is. I know I'd be laughing if I ever saw one irl
