I bought a few bulbs two weeks ago and planted most of them into LECA (indoors) or soil (on my balcony), but also one into a Kratky pot.

I don't think I can harvest this year yet, but we'll see.

In this one also grows garlic and strawberries. It's meant to hibernate this winter, and then in the early spring, I'll place it outside.

Yeah, actually I should have done that a month earlier.

In my web research I found out, that they are anti-cyclic, so they bloom in late fall/ early winter, and hibernate in spring and summer. During the "hibernation", they grow like grass and store the power in their bulbs/ rhizome.

And exactly those bulbs I bought. 30 pcs for 10€ in my local garden center.

With a bit of luck, a few of them might bloom in a few days or weeks, but I think they will just look boring the next 10 months...

But I think that especially the fact that they are passive makes them cool. That way they could make it great in my indoor house plants or perennial fruits on my balcony!
