Why? Why not?

I don't care about the ranks themselves, but I am tempted to give it a go and see if it results in better matchmaking than standard play.

I've played one game of ranked and everyone was on their best behavior. The other team even paused for someone on my team needing to restart the game a couple times.

It'll turn into a cesspool though obviously.
