Finally got around to watching.....and I cried at the show just as much, if not more, as I cried at the books as a kid. I remembered Lyra's words to Will at the end almost word for word, and I'm so glad they kept them in unchanged (as far as I can remember). Just beautifully done, the entire thing. And the music is exquisite too.

The universe keeps finding ways to remind me to watch this show... It looks like it does the books justice which is all I could ask for, really, so I'll get to it eventually. It's kinda weird how little people talk about it considering it's an HBO show, though.
