We're chasing that dream-like feeling of floating free in the air and playing around, be it real or fantasy. Any post type that conveys this feeling is welcome. Check the post flairs for examples.

What qualifies for Floating Is Fun is open to interpretation. I encourage everyone to post what they like to see. Give us a gentle push and we'll float pretty far.

We started on Reddit /r/FloatingIsFun in 2021 and moved here in 2023. All 400+ posts from the original from the original subreddit have been reposted here, so you're not missing anything.

On our home instance fedia.io, we have custom CSS with banner images by neko and by ke-ta

I looked around, but I couldn't find any word on ani.social being getting an #InstanceBlock from fedia.io.

The closest I could find was last week where programming.dev blocked a bunch of your moe communities there. It seems people aren't comfortable having moe art show up in their /all feeds, and that's understandable, but I don't think it's worth defederating a whole instance over.

No, I was in that thread agreeing with their decision. If their users don't like it, that's what they should do, but defederating is a much, much more severe action.
