I haven't really followed her technicals specifically, but it seems to me like the usual referee problem in the NBA/WNBA. Refs are getting more ridiculous with calling technicals for the slightest expression of frustration, even if not directed at a specific person. The more popular you are though, you get some leeway. And if there's a spotlight on some perceived bias specifically to her, I'm sure the refs will adjust and hold back accordingly.
