After you get your library card go sign up for Libby! Free books and audiobooks from your phone/device.

And if your library provides access to Hoopla, there's also free movies and manga.

Yes! I signed up for my local library! Their ebook system is well... Subpar... So I also signed up for my parents local library in another state and can now use libby! It's amazing!
