I know very little about the protests. I assume a small number of aggro cooker types kicked off against the cops creating a cascade of bullshit that the majority attending didn't want.

I gave my dog a steak for lunch cos it's his birthday. I mostly eat plant based these days, I can't remember the last time I cooked a steak. Kinda stinky.

I pretended to eat it first, then put the plate with the cut up steak on the ground for him.

Happy bday lil derpsy!!

protest, spoiled because it's a happy day for lil derpledog, and I don't want to spoil it with protest talkI have been trying to keep up with it, and I agree with your assessment. Watching the initial scuffles from yesterday, it seems like a group of them tried to walk onto the Westgate, and the cops responded by blocking them and then shoving the protestors with pretty significant force backwards

It's interesting watching it through the perspective of having lived in state care, and studying community services. If you work in a Resi house, a kid gets angry and tries to march into the (house) office, you don't respond by shoving them out with enough force to push them over. If you have the stature, know the kid, and feel confident you can handle yourself and they aren't armed, you shouldn't necessarily just let them March in, but you should charge at them like they're little angry bowling pins either
