I would prefer this group not become political focused, ruins so many subs. Anything LGBT+ is fine, not what I’m referring to. But the right and left and antifa stuff I could strongly do without
It always was political, avoiding politics is a position of privilege
I would recommend blocking either this entire community or just me. I have no intention of censoring myself for you.

Lemmy's algorithm isn't taylored in any way. This is just a super active community with a lot of posts that get a lot of upvotes. If you're browsing all without a block list, yeah, you're gonna see it a lot. If you don't want to see it you can just browse your subscribed feed, or local, or block it, and never think about it again
This sub is 50/50 unfunny political memes or funny shitposts, no in-between. I haven't subscribed to it but Lemmy thinks I want to see it so here I am.
Then block it and stop complaining
