That said... the USA is just a small part of society.
From that article:
Notice how they keep referencing “healthy food”.
Starvation is not a lack of access to “healthy food”. Starvation is a lack of access to “any food”. Insufficient calories.

In this case that is a distinction without a difference. People are still dieing.
