Oh there is already one redo by a guy who made it in 1 day
I looked, but what I saw redid everything instead of just the real people. I'm talking about keeping everything the same except make the people into high quality 3d models with the same style.
Probably was easier to do what they did in such a short timeframe. But what ,ou suggested will surely come out in the next month.
