Hi! Since i don't want to get forced into TPM with Win11, and with the great improvements in game compatibility in the last years, i am thinking about switching to Linux.

System Specs:

  • AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
  • 32GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (due for an upgrade tho, probably nvidia again)
  • 2 M2 2280 drives

The last time i worked with Linux was with Debian Jessie, and messed up my system more than one time (chalking it up as learning experience). So my question is: which current distribution is best suited for gaming for me without much messing around too much?

i was out of my depth when i needed x86 support on my x64 system for something, and somewhere along the line i landed in dependency hell ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
and the first time i just failed installing graphics drivers for an iGPU, but i worked that out later on, so at least i know i am able to learn :-)
i will take a look at it, thanks for the suggestion!
