I’m not even sure if I ever came across this one back in the day.
When I saw how it reviewed really well,I was very surprised as good licences games were not all that common in my experience.

The fact that it wasn't licensed to a current movie or television show probably worked to it's advantage. The developers wouldn't have been under the pressure to produce a game that released at the same time as the media it was based on. It had to give them a lot more time to create a good product.

That didn’t cross my mind, but I think you’re spot on.
Must have been a bit of a passion project.

That reminds me of the Buck Rogers pinball table from the 70s.
We had that one in the little cafe that I grew up in.
I must have been just 3 or 4 years old at the time so those memories are incredibly fuzzy at best. 😅

But those sounds and some of the effects are burned into my mind. 😄
