I reinstalled Reddit earlier today, and I'm very sad to see the news about the DT. I haven't been there as long as some of you, but I have been around long enough for it to feel like my little internet home. It's very upsetting to see all of the conversations and memories from the sub just gone, potentially forever.

The silver lining, I guess, is that r/Melbourne was almost the only reason I even use reddit, so I guess I can get rid of it now.

I hope everyone will be sticking around, I guess this will be my new home now.

(also, I'm still getting the hang of this fediverse and instance stuff, [email protected] is also me, but Jebora doesn't seem to have a way of logging into aussie.zone, so sh.itjust.works is my home instance for now)
