Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. Ground effect vehicles need less energy then planes for similar speeds. The problem is that they are fast and handle badly. So you need large flat areas, which basically means large bodies of water. On land we have high speed rail anyway. So a vehicle like this, probably larger, would be good for connections between Dublin - Liverpool or Busan - Fukoka, which connect islands to the mainland.
