There was a Rush cover band playing at Max Watts last night, I wish I could have gone. Usually I'm not one for cover bands but it sounds like these guys play Rush songs exactly the way they did, and they were doing Moving Pictures and the song Hemispheres in full
I was there! It was pretty great actually. Hemispheres was incredible and the crowd really popped for YYZ. Overall very well done, and some very impressive skills on show.
I knew it would be good. Playing some of their songs is impressive enough I'd like to watch anyone do it, not just the original band
