FWIW I sent a message to HG_redditington on reddit and didn't get a reply, so I'm not sure if it's the same person on both accounts.

HG popped by to say hi and see what's up. We've had a few fake accounts follow over from reddit so I sent them a message on reddit in case it was an impersonator. I haven't had a reply on reddit, which doesn't exclude the Lemmy user but it does raise an eyebrow for me so I'm sharing it.
Ur kidding? I know that was a thing day 0 but thats STILL going on? How would DT folks today even be getting the link without going way back on the DT posts?
Wtf. More to the point why does anyone care enough to do it?
I'm not saying it isn't HG, I'm saying HG didn't reply yet on reddit.
This is all probably more to do with my general suspicious of people nature.
Nothing wrong with that at all. You never know what people are capable of really.
