They give you sort of an intro after clarifying that they changed the main story. So everything you knew up to now no longer applies and even some background characters will not be in 1.0.

So I'd say it's actually good to watch. Or you take my info and be surprised in 1.0 knowing your previous info is outdated. So don't be dissapointed about that then.
