It could still be broken. If it's that painful I'd get it checked out.

Not as far as I know, other than splinting it to the toe next to it and try not to move it too much. A pinky toe even more so.

However, the big toe would definitely warrant a trip to ER/GP just because it helps with balance and walking. The pinky is less necessary.
