Don't play into their "Party of Lincoln" shit. They constantly fly and defend the flag of his enemies. It's just virtue signaling banking on people's ignorance of history.

I think it's fine to do like this meme to show how low they've fallen. Obviously they really aren't the same party in anything but name, but they could be.
