  1. No spam or self-promotion

One post, one photo in the limit of 3 pictures in a 24 hours timespan. Do not flood the community with your pictures. Be patient, select your best work, and enjoy.

  1. If you want contructive critiques, use [Critique Wanted] in your title.

  2. Flair NSFW posts (nudity, gore, ...)

  3. Do not share your portfolio (instagram, flickr, or else...)

The aim of this community is to invite everyone to discuss around your photography. If you drop everything with one link, this become pointless. Portfolio posts will be deleted. You can however share your portfolio link in the comment section if another member wants to see more of your work.

I was going on a walk and chose to take some photos of my local air traffic control radar. Also found this buddy, but couldn't take a good picture as i was being eaten alive by mosquitos :)

Both photos were taken on an old Nikon D5100 and edited in adobe photoshop. (adjusted the colors slightly)

There's absolutely zero wrong with older cameras, they really highlight that good photos are all about finding interesting subjects and framing (your first shot is tops). I say this as someone with an A9, but IMO the biggest benefit of a more modern body is the AF and potential the burst rate. It's always nice seeing photos from my D40 pop up on our digital frame. Other than me knowing what camera took them, you would never know.
