Thinking of getting a steamdeck (lemmy.world)

Ill be travelling for a while soon so i was thinking of getting a deck for the long flights.

What size would you recommend ?

What's the battery like when running games or watching movies ?

Any gotcha moments when running a deck?

I don't know what the heck I have... I have a steam deck I bought used for less than $150. It works great. The battery life is about 5-6 play sessions. I play medium graphic games at best. Usually 1 hour sessions (give or take) before bed.

I haven't yet don't anything else but may put other emulators on it. So far... It's great and I'd pay full price for one.
