In the photo he is standing in the same spot as he was when he was speaking. So it would make sense that an astute photographer would have already lined up this shot on a tripod from when he was speaking. That's what I would have done
I understand why Trump would be in frame, but not why the flag would be in the same spot AND upside-down.
If the flagpole fell in the confusion, that could explain it being upside-down but not in frame.
If the flag were already there, that would explain it being in frame but not upside-down.
It all seems too coincidental.
this reads like conspiratorial thinking tbh. Its easy to grab at the idea that this is somehow Trump's doing, but things like this do sometimes happen
I so desperately want it to be revealed to be a conspiracy because it would further discredit Trump. But I know it isn't, which is so utterly terrifying for our democracy.
I think the better answer is: it's currently unknown.
Not upside down, when hung vertically that is the correct way. There’s A LOT of frankly unnecessary ‘rules’.
It's not upside down, but I agree that it sure looks planned. Somehow every fucking situation that could sink trump always happens to help him.
