This doesn't mean that 75% won't vote for him, but rather that 75% now think that the party would be better off with someone else.
Count me as part of this. I liked the job he did these past 4 years, but wish he kept his ego in check and just decided to walk away this time. If he's the one on the ballot come November, I'll vote for him, but it's harder to defend that position now.
I'll defend it. In a choice between a lunatic narcissist surrounded by sycophants and a potato surrounded by semi-competent advisors, I'll have the mashed.
That's not a defense, it's an excuse. You're picking the potato because the alternative is much worse. That's not a resounding endorsement of potatoes, it's an acknowledgement of reality.
Wouldn't we be better off if he decides to have his next mashed potato serving on his own terms, and let Kamala take over? She seems to be the type of woman who forced her step-kids to eat their veggies, just what this country needs.
I'm just defending my decision to vote for Biden, not defending Biden himself. Get therapy.
