  1. We take for granted that if you engage in this community, you understand that veganism is about the animals. You either are vegan for the animals, or you are not (this is not to say that discussions about climate/environment/health are not allowed, of course)

Been looking for a canvas bag and just wanted to share my frustration with bag makers feeling the need to slap a needless leather patch onto an otherwise vegan product. WHY?

My fiance wants new converse shoes, but there's always a little stripe of leather stuck somewhere on them.

I wouldn't want shoes with a bit of something that once moo'd
