Guess you haven’t heard of Weetabix before. Not quite the same but close enough.
That looks entirely inedible.
They soften from absorbing milk and people generally add sugar or other sweeteners. Still not the peak of breakfast cuisine, though.
Sounds a whole lot like diy cereal.
Well I’m always looking for something to slow me down while I’m getting ready for work, I’ll give it a shot!
Sugar is a must
Not after you smother it in Vegemite
In that state it is. Moreso than most cereal, you're supposed to let it soak in a little first.
But then they are even more mush than regular cereal.
They pretty much aren't, disgustang
I think i loved the heaps of sugar I got to add myself more than the large biscut now that it's been a while.
I remember those days. So much sugar :)
These days my kids just skip the middle man and pour sugar straight into their mouths. At one point I was frequently confiscating sachets of sugar they'd nabbed while I wasn't looking.
Caught mine sucking down liquid coffee creamer. Fuckin' kids.
In the US we’d basically been doing this for decades as kids, sanctioned by the candy makers through pixy stix (which apparently wasn’t even real sugar but maltodextrin).
I completely forgot pixy stix existed. Now I kinda want one.
I had one out of my kids' Halloween candy a few months ago. Trust me, no you don't.
Some things are better left as memories.
Sounds right.
Also the original shredded wheat
Edit maybe those are the same thing
Yeah the giant shredded wheat lol. Looks so strange when you're used to mini wheats
Ah, like nature valley bars, turns to dust when you touch it.
Immediately thought of this - I guess this person is British or from another region where Weetabix is a normal thing
