One month into Loblaws boycott what effect has it had on grocery store giant?
(toronto.citynews.ca)
A sub devoted to highlighting the ridiculous cost of living in Canada right now. We’d like to thank our corporate overlord Galen Weston Jr. of Loblaws for continually raising grocery prices so he can get a big fat bonus cheque every year while the rest of Canadians struggle to make ends meet.
Even if the boycott hasn't done much to their profits, I'm still never shopping at their stores again. I am fortunate to live in an area that has many choices for grocery stores, so I'm going to use that privilege. Also I used to shop at their stores every couple weeks when I needed groceries, and I would consider myself a former loyal customer.
