A sub devoted to highlighting the ridiculous cost of living in Canada right now. We’d like to thank our corporate overlord Galen Weston Jr. of Loblaws for continually raising grocery prices so he can get a big fat bonus cheque every year while the rest of Canadians struggle to make ends meet.
I am outraged about this. Went to my local Maxi to pick up eggs (they were half price than others) and I saw this on top of something else. I get them from costco anyways, but this kind of shrinkflation is really annoying. Other soft drinks are probably going to get the same treatment
I wish I actually had taken a photo or two of that shit last month. I'll definitely keep that in mind in the near future, next time I go to Walmart.
