If we're brutally honest, no it fucking doesn't. Microsoft's last fine operating system was Windows 7.

Windows 8 fucked it up for tablets nobody bought, 8.1 was a monkeypatch to act vaguely normal, and 10 was "well goddammit maybe they'll fix it eventually" until it got old enough and corporate enough that people grudgingly tolerate it. Windows 10 users are only used to its horseshit. Nobody should have to put up with the surprise reboots for forced updates, or the constant struggle for debloat and decruft. Just getting rid of the first-party browser, the exact fucking thing Microsoft lost a monopoly lawsuit over, twenty-five god-damn years ago, requires a command-line interface, and still doesn't fucking work.

I tolerate zero debate about ads in the goddamn Start menu. This is abuse and you are a victim. Girl - leave him already. Just use Mint.
