OH I GOT IT! The submarine that imploded was heading for the Titanic.
Leaving the explanation here because I was so frustrated 38 comments in nobody even made a joke that was helpful for explaining the meme.
no actually it was because in 2023 there was another Titanic that was built in memorial to the original but they only sent 5 people on it that time. it met the same fate on its maiden voyage. megalodon attack.
