I'm copied this from an other website to help spread awareness.

In light of the Loblaws boycott, I figured we could do another community list of small grocers in your neighborhoods. Convenience stores, markets, fruit stands all welcome, as long as they aren't owned by some giant company.

I'll start:

Lucky Moose (dundas and beverly)

Bloor Manning Fruit Market

P.A.T. (bloor and manning)

Rise Up Foods (formerly Fresh Fields)(dundas and Brock)

Pavao (dundas and gladstone)

A Lota Seafood (dundas and Brock)

Brazil Bakery (formerly brockton bakery) (dundas and brock)

Macs Cigars (Dundas and Brock)

Unboxed Market

Raise the Root

O Nosso Talho

Galati in North York north of Finch and Leslie is a fully fledged grocery store owned independently.

There are a large number of Asian supermarkets scattered throughout North York and Scarborough, I don’t know who owns what, some are by big chains (Foody/Tone Tai/Fresh Value), some are not. Obviously avoid T&T.

E1: BlogTO mentioned Karma Coop which is located west of Bathurst, two blocks north of Bloor.
