How is it that I'm obsessed with art right now but can't buckle down and practice. Am I stuck somewhere or is it just struggling with pressure/focus ๐คจ
(I am practicing, cross hatching with a pen. It's just hard to stick at.)
it just takes hours and hours of study and practice,
for example, sometimes I do calligraphy for presents, I will study their name, get a nice translation, choose characters, choose the materials and style . All that still takes hours.
It's a free public domain book so very old, this exercise is meant to be done with a fountain pen (?) with ink that can be scratched off with a pen knife to lighten the value and even out the whole thing. I'm trying to do it with a biro and no knife
