21 avg and 2.5h is a tough one, but should be fine with a decent bike and at least slightly more than average fitness. Congrats on the success, OP :)

It's on a Trek FX1 :) I plan to get a roadie next season, but this was my first bike purchase in a decade+ since highschool, so started conservative.
On a trekking bike?? Holy sh.. respect - I expected that was made on a road bike with low to moderate stress (? Not sure about that word, not my mothertongue)
It was definitely not low stress lol
Feels like training with weights on ¯\(ツ)/¯
