Just permanently block their number to avoid having the problem ever again.

I also change the contact name. I change it to a code I can figure out. That way, when I see the name, it doesn't trigger the emotional displeasure of thinking about them. I also put a 'z' in front of their name so it is listed all the way at the bottom, making it so I barely every see it anyway.
