The commercials aren't bad but I feel like they are boiling the frog. A few before the show starts isn't annoying now but within 5 years it's commercials every 15 minutes like broadcast TV.

You made the right call to just stop. The last episode of the season wasn't even great. Just dimension hopping fan service: oooh spiderman, oooh zombies, oooh batman.

If you download it in the prime app (on windows) you dont get ads till after the episode is over.
