still bouncing between elden ring and cyberpunk but started doing dd2
I feel that, those two are permanently installed on my deck because I'm not finished with them, but I'm always caught up playing other things instead.
Im one of those folks who like never finish a game. I get really far and all but finish but always hold back.
I often fall into a trap where I try to play through most of the side content before finishing the story, but I'll burn out on the game while playing the side content leaving the main story unfinished.
I've started to do a game rotation where I'll put down a game when I start to get burnt out on it, and then come back later. But with Elden Ring I'm intimidated about going back because I was stuck in a frustrating part when I stopped, and with Cyberpunk I get suckered into exploring the city and enjoying the vibes of the atmosphere instead of actually progressing anything.
I have had convos with someone in the past and I think im more like them. I just don't want to finish it and have it be over. That along with wanting everything before I end. For ones I like anyway. For some games I do get put off. dragons dogma2 is like that for me now. It crashes a lot which I was going to put up with but then some of the mechanics are just to much for me. If it gets more stable I may go back and try and muddle through the mechanics.
