Help me pick a beer please (leddit.danmark.party)

I’m visiting in Denmark and promised a friend I’d bring him a Danish beer - some craft whatever thing not the usual Carlsberg. I only know he likes blonde / light coloured beers. (I’m in nord jylland if it matters)

Any suggestions? Not too pricy preferably. Tusind tak!

Limfjordsporter seems very fitting since we’ve been picking seashells and oyster shells off the shores of Limfjorden the last two evenings haha

A Limfjordsporter isn’t exactly a light colored/blonde beer, it’s a dark stout beer with a high alcohol content. But the brewery Thisted who makes it has a lot of other lighter beers, such as Cold Hawaii Blå, Alive Hazy Fruited Wheat beer, or their Økologisk Hvede. And as other have mentioned a lot of big grocery stores carry them, probably some smaller stores closer to you too since Thisted is pretty close to Morsø.

Limfjordsporter tastes quite bad. For someone who likes blonde beers, Fynsk forår is the way to go.

It comes down to individual taste of course, but objectively it cannot be denied it is one of the better (broadly available) beers in DK of it’s type.

Limfjordsporter is a stout as far as I know. Its very dark, and might not suit your friends taste. Thy Bryghus has some nice beer … even for a local brewery, since you’re in that part if the country.

Just make sure it's not too cold, or it only taste like smoke. It really is the direct opposite to a light blonde beer. Notice how no light penetrate when you hold the bottle to a lamp.. Very dark beer.
