A community dedicated to the universe of Warhammer 40k, a tabletop setting in the far, distant future.

This is a general community for 40k miniatures, art, lore discussion, and gameplay discussion.

Rules

  1. Keep it civil.
  2. No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
  3. Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
  4. No political or social cause agenda pushing.

Lead off with a turn 1 Waaagh. I was going second so the 5+ inv save helped mitigate losses, also with how deployment worked out, I'd have some charges lined up unless he pulled back (he didn't).

The big alpha strike took out the bikers, tank, the dwarves on the building, and most of another unit.

Without the inv save, the Votann that were still alive were able to put the hurt onto the Boyz and start whittling down the Beastboss on Squigosaur. In the end, the Dwarves won that side of the field, but with 3 objectives stickied and the Meganobz and Beast Snagga Boyz on their way, I was able to snag the win on VPs.

That's -exactly- what I painted it to look like! :)

Yep, that's the Primal Broozer Boss on Dogosaur A.
